Terms, Conditions & Agreement

SOUTHERN SPORTS AGENCY, LLC

RECRUITING CONSULTING AGREEMENT

​

This Recruiting Consulting Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between:

​

Southern Sports Agency, LLC (“SSA”), a Louisiana limited liability company,

and

​

Athlete: __________________________________________

Parent/Guardian (if applicable): ______________________

​

(collectively, “Client”).

​

Effective Date: ___________________________

​

1. PURPOSE

​

SSA agrees to provide recruiting consulting and advisory services to Athlete in connection with the college recruiting process.

​

All services are advisory in nature and are intended to provide strategy, evaluation, and guidance only

​

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

 

Depending on the service selected, SSA may provide:

 

  • Film evaluation and recruiting level projection

  • Recruiting strategy development and planning

  • Highlight film review and recommendations

  • School targeting and program fit analysis

  • Coach communication strategy and guidance

  • Camp and exposure planning

  • Recruiting board tracking and adjustments

  • Offer evaluation and decision-making guidance

  • NIL education and general advisory

  • Transfer portal strategy (if applicable)

SSA retains discretion over the method, timing, and delivery of services.

​

3. INITIAL CONSULTATION

​

Client agrees to complete an initial consultation prior to ongoing services.

​

Consultation Fee:

​

  • Standard Rate: $750 (initial fee)

  • ​Monthly Fee: $ 300

  • John Curtis Christian School Athlete Rate: $500

 

The consultation includes evaluation, recruiting projection, and delivery of a strategic roadmap.

 

This fee is earned upon receipt and is non-refundable.

​

4. SERVICE OPTIONS AND FEES

​

Client elects the following service (check one):

​

☐ Initial Consultation Only

No ongoing services.

​

☐ Monthly Consulting (Month-to-Month) – $300/month

​

Includes:

​

  • Ongoing recruiting advisory and strategy

  • Film review and feedback (as needed)

  • School targeting and communication guidance

  • Recruiting board management and adjustments

  • General NIL and decision-making advisory

​

☐ 12-Month Commitment – $150/month (Minimum Term Required)

​

Includes all Monthly Consulting services, with the following conditions:

​

  • Minimum 12-month commitment required

  • Total Contract Value: $1,800

  • Discounted rate provided in exchange for long-term commitment

​

☐ Hourly Advisory – $250/hour

​

Used for one-off services, including but not limited to:

​

  • Film evaluation

  • Offer and NIL breakdown

  • Transfer portal strategy

​

​

Billing increments and payment timing determined by SSA.

​

5. PAYMENT TERMS

​

  • All fees are due in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • SSA may suspend services for non-payment

  • Monthly services must be paid prior to each billing period and paid via auto credit card draft

  • Hourly services may require advance payment

  • All payments are non-refundable once services have commenced

​

6. TERM AND TERMINATION

​

  • Month-to-month services may be terminated by either party upon written notice

  • 12-month agreements are binding for the full term

    • Client agrees to pay the full contract value ($1,800)

    • Early termination does not relieve Client of payment obligations

  • SSA may terminate this Agreement for non-payment or breach

  • No refunds shall be issued for services rendered

7. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

 

Client acknowledges:

 

  • SSA does not guarantee recruitment by any college program

  • SSA does not guarantee scholarship offers, roster placement, or NIL opportunities

  • Recruiting outcomes depend on factors outside SSA’s control

​

8. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

​

Client agrees to:

​

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Submit film, academic updates, and relevant materials in a timely manner

  • Communicate professionally with coaches and third parties

  • Follow reasonable guidance provided by SSA

​

Failure to do so may negatively impact recruiting outcomes.

​

9. REPRESENTATION DISCLOSURE

​

Client acknowledges:

​

  • This Agreement is for consulting services only

  • SSA may, at its sole discretion, offer a separate representation agreement at a later time

  • Any such agreement would be independent and require separate execution

  • SSA is under no obligation to offer representation, and Client is under no obligation to accept

​

10. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS

​

SSA is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee, agent, or fiduciary of Client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

​

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

​

  • SSA shall not be liable for recruiting outcomes or lack thereof

  • SSA shall not be liable for decisions made by colleges, coaches, or third parties

  • SSA’s role is advisory only

​

12. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

​

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.

​

Any dispute shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Louisiana.

​

13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

​

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions or understandings.

​

14. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

​

By signing below, Client acknowledges:

​

  • Understanding of the services provided

  • Agreement to the fee structure

  • Awareness that no guarantees are made

  • Understanding that representation is separate
